From the artist: “Eventide was made during a trip to the Outer Banks as a piece of my ongoing project there. The image was taken shortly after a fisherman left his post, letting his rods sit in place, on the off chance one of them caught. He then walked over to socialize with other fishermen, which seems to be a common occurrence. While this image is void of any human subject, it represents community, and those who are settled in these quiet, ocean-side towns.”

11 1/4 x 14 inches, semi-gloss cotton rag paper, deckled edge. Float framed at two inches, acrylic glazing. Hand-made framing recommended in Bleached Maple (pictured).
Each print and frame is made by hand to order. Kindly anticipate a production time of 1-2 weeks for unsigned prints, 3-4 weeks for signed prints, and 4-6 weeks for framed prints.

Nathan Grimes (b. 2001, Minnesota) is a photographer currently based in Northern Virginia, working as a photographer at a photo/video company. In his personal work, Nathan enjoys photographing daily life. His work is a mixture of documented moments, portraiture, and natural and human landscapes.
