From the artist: “This image was taken on top of a sand dune using Kodak Tri-X 400. After this moment, my friends and I started rolling down the dunes like we did when we were younger. It reminds me of simpler times.”

Josiah Bice is a photographer based in New Albany, Indiana who documents objects and places with an eye focused on movement and emotion. He uses photography to capture the beauty of everyday life and loves the analog process of shooting, developing, and scanning film himself at his work, State Film Lab in Louisville, Kentucky.
