From the artist: “I made this photo early in the morning in late fall. I had known of this location for a while and hadn't made the time to go and actually take a photo of it. I love that there is this massive sand dune that separates these two bodies of water. And while it is not part of any larger project, it is a lovely image to reflect on and feel a sense of peace with nature.”

10 x 8 inches, smooth matte cotton rag paper. Framed with 2 inch off-white archival mat and acrylic glazing. Hand-made framing recommended in Ash (pictured).
Each print and frame is made by hand to order. Kindly anticipate a production time of 1-2 weeks for unsigned prints, 3-4 weeks for signed prints, and 4-6 weeks for framed prints.

Jordan Schmidt (Florida, 1994) is a photographer based in NY. His work examines coastal landscapes and the people there. Drawn to history and creative compositions, Jordan’s photographs capture storylines of time present and time past. Pensive in process, his visual projects are intentionally created and self directed on medium format film.
